이니스프리의 호수섬 -  예이츠 

 


나 일어나 이제 가리라, 이니스프리로 가리라.
가서 잔가지 엮고 진흙 발라 오두막 하나 지으리
싸릿문 밖에선 아홉이랑 콩밭갈고
꿀벌을 위해서는 벌통 하나 마련하여
벌이 윙윙대는 숲속의 빈터에 나 홀로 살리.
그러면 내게 평화가 찾아오겟지.

평화는 물방울 떨어지듯
뚜욱 뚝 떨어져 방울져 내리기에,
아침이 너울 벗을 때부터
귀뚜라미 울음우는 저녁때까지.
거기에선 한밤중에도 온 세상이 은은히 빛을 발하고,
한낮엔 자줏빛 일렁이고, 저녁이면 홍방울 새 날개짓 가득하지

나 일어나 이제 가리라, 밤이나 낮이나 내 귀전에
호숫가 찰랑이는 물소리 나지막이 들리기에
한길에서나 잿빛 보도에 서 있을 때면
아! 그 소리 언제나 가슴속 깊이 저며드네.
